VOKA SDG Ambassador pitch

Context CARBIP Presentation

The Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) is a program that helps companies integrate sustainability into their operations. Companies participating in the VCDO develop an action plan with at least 10 action points that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). After one year, this plan is evaluated by an external committee. Upon a positive evaluation, the company receives the VCDO certificate. Companies that are positively evaluated for three consecutive years and implement actions within all 17 SDGs receive the SDG Pioneer certificate from the United Nations.

During the presentation to VOKA as a VCDO ambassador, the CARBIP project was highlighted as an example of Prefaco’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. The project focuses on the development of innovative and sustainable building materials, such as insulated hollow walls with recycled insulation. This project, supported by European subsidies, contributes to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting a circular economy. The presentation aimed to share Prefaco’s successes and best practices with other VCDO participants and demonstrate how companies can contribute to the SDGs through innovative projects.
